Aren't you getting a bunch from Canada too? That's where almost all of our smoke is coming from.

I looked at the DNRC fire map and about lost my coffee with how many fires sprung up in the last week alone. I'm fortunate to have a barrier of mtns. Stay safe!

I made myself almond & potato crusted chicken parm with a pepper & tomato sauce last night. Today's lunch is the leftovers. That sauce has had even more time to meld. I've been stoked since I went to bed last night

I always thought it would be cool if more arid regions utilized underground and bermed earth sheltered homes. Which i guess would be a style of the rooftop garden. Basically, they say to add more flora. Free the river. Become Hobbits.

Last I heard solar panels can increase a cities heat index. To my knowledge, solutions to fighting heat are the rooftop gardens, exposed waterways, and more trees. One cool example I saw: trading parking lots for garages with vegetation on the upper most level.
