I agree industry is incentivized by cheap renewables. I would argue the government is responsible for incentivizing industry by subsidizing modernization. Instead politicians are worried about giving that money to billionaires or special interests

I do like your material but have to disagree on this one. Our energy infrastructure is undersized and the gap is expected to grow significantly. We need to be building out all energy sources, especially renewables, to ensure the continued growth of American high tech sectors.

I think both attitudes are correct. This allows the Drake equation to skew to a slightly higher probability. Most importantly it creates conversation about science
