At first I to l thought this was a vending machine and I was like "that's awesome but I hope the games don't get hurt when being vended" and then I realised it was a shelf of games and I still think it's awesome.

I feel like creators of any kind need to start insisting and adding in contacts, (especially with publishers) a no-ai clause.
Sadly, this could really impact their career.

I would say Fate.
Because the characters can make aspects true, they can suggest these relationships and b-plots as and when they are convenient (or not if used as a compel).

Likely after a storm. I had them in my yard recently (Brisbane) after storms. Might have been flushed along a gutter or a drain. They might be lost but they'll move on when they are ready.

As their name implies they are swimmers not climbers so when they go up it's because they have nowhere to swim to escape.

I don't know how "indie" it is, but Fate broke my brain and saved me from trad TTRPGs.
The engagement of myself and players and the creativity and storytelling it spawned was such a refreshing change.
