I am a developmental geneticist and an assistant professor of biology who loves teaching genetics and helping students to achieve their career goals. In addition to all manner of sciences, I hope to connect with others and learn more about pedagogy, science communication, and free/low-cost tools!

1/27 We have a new paper out! Turns out that snowflake yeast have been hiding a secret from us - they've evolved a (very!) crude circulatory system. Not with blood vessels or a heart, but through spontaneous fluid flows powered by their metabolism. 🧪🔬
