Finally got time to finish @doctorvive.bsky.social’s book and am speechless. Genevieve, this work is spectacular.

Razor-sharp, moving, energising - and yet profoundly conscious of what we have lost, and what we might continue to lose.

“In the end it is your soul to whom you are accountable.” 💚

So cool to meet @doctorvive.bsky.social briefly today and hear your talk. I really resonate with these ideas of how powerful and specific emotions can stimulate real action on climate.

(And I promise I’ll read your book as soon as I get home! It’s on my desk 🙏)

Really interesting time in Kampala visiting UpEnergy yesterday.

Cookstoves projects get a hard time because of the difficulty gathering stove usage data to feed carbon reduction calculations — but some great innovations from the team on the ground here to connect everything together.

More soon.

Such a pleasure to have Florent from Global Forest Generation and Acción Andina in the office today.

We've been working together for over 3 years to support their Indigenous-led restoration initiatives in the Andes. Looking forward to many more years working together.

My team just published our new whitepaper, which talks through our new carbon project assessment framework at Ecologi.

We're working hand-in-hand with the world's leading carbon market experts to help drag the VCM into better quality and integrity.

Enjoyed speaking about how to save nature on the Nature, Land and Sea forum at @innovationzero.bsky.social yesterday.

Looking forward to day two with the Ecologi team today.

This week’s #StandingStoneSunday from me is the Alter Wedge Tomb* in County Cork.

~4,500 years old and positioned looking out over the water toward Mizen Peak.

*I’m conscious that I might be stretching the meaning of “standing stone” by including Neolithic tombs as well, but look how cool it is!

My #StandingStoneSunday this week is the Rollright Stones in Oxfordshire.

4-6,000 years old. What I especially loved about visiting these is hearing the local lore: stories of kings and knights turned to stone by a witch.

Poll na Brón, County Clare. 🇮🇪

Estimated to be up to 6,000 years old, built onto the stark but beautiful limestone karst of the Burren.

My submission for this week’s #StandingStoneSunday from my Cornish road trip last year.

Mên-an-Tol is something like 3,500 years old, surrounded by serene Cornish countryside.

And another standing stone, Mên Scryfa, is just a few paces away.
