We rode up to Asheville today to get some mountain views and eat some good food. First spot was Good Hot Fish. It’s Black woman owned and I felt instant nostalgia when I stepped inside. Oh and the food?? 10/10, no notes.

My daughter came outside while I was out with the pup and plopped down in the grass. I grabbed a blanket and laid beside her and we talked until the mosquitos ran us back inside. When someone asked yesterday what gives you the will to live, it’s exactly this. Moments like this. 🩵
