trying out davinci resolve again after about 3 years as i reeeally dont wanna depend on adobe when im on my own but...
1. they made it way easier to get it to a layout that i can stand (i named it "No BS")

just got home from watching Tron Ares
despite the elephant in the room, i think it turned out pretty good, but i still prefer Legacy over it
sorta like the other Tron (which i only saw recently lol), story definitely takes a backseat to showcase flashy visuals and music

watched that new spongebob "Go Fetch!" short that i've seen on my feeds a lot (mainly cuz half of the 3D artists i follow worked on it) and yeah it was super cool!
probably the best CG iteration of spongebob that i've seen and knowing that most of it was done in blender was neat

This is such a strange time in politics and internet culture, part of me is kinda disgusted at all the heinous shit i've seen. But at the same time, a lot of it is in an internet bubble that doesn't really reflect the people outside of the screen fighting for what's right, and that's comforting.
