Smitty from Up North
@smitty1914.bsky.social
Northside Chi. Atl Living. Demi's dad. Candis' Husband. Morehouse Man. Sigma Man. IT Project Manager. Chicago sports victim. I enjoy stand-up comedy. I get out the country a couple times a year. A perfect day includes a beautiful view from a rooftop bar.
I wouldn't go that far. They definitely don't have the rights and work-life balance of US employees, but it has to suck when your peers work 40 hours and you have to work 55-60 with a very small chance for promotion and a near complete inability to find a different role.

I'm in IT, they make them work ungodly hours as well.

He absolutely was not the majority shareholder at the time of the sale. Twitter was a public company at the time of the sale. Not caping for Jack, I just want to understand what he could do to block the sale when he only owned 9% of the company at the time of the sale.

You have to get the food down in time to play Taboo, song karaoke, watch football, and make that walk.

Fa sho, I'll take your word for it.

I hear you, but Jack sold a large part of his stake long before Elon came along. By the time Elon was buying it, he ONLY owned like 9%, not enough to block the sale.
