A few thoughts on an issue which has troubled me for some time! So much attention, rightly, on primary to secondary transition: what about the transition to A Level?

Interesting to hear how Year 1 of the MBacc has progressed. Clearly some interesting work has been done, but keen to hear what the long term strategy is, how it will provide young people with the necessary skills to succeed in the world: cannot just be about work experience and pathways #MBaccSummit

It is concerning that the humanities no longer appear to have the appeal they used to have.
We certainly need a population which is mathematically literate, but we also need one able to analyze, think critically, and understand who we are and where have come from.
