I really worry about the quality of candidates for the upcoming presidential election. The pair of them have been deservedly ripped to shreds on @rte.ie Morning Ireland this morning. Both are very flakey and badly prepared. It's embarrassing

I’m an experienced person in my line of work. I’ve worked at senior director level for years. I’ve been promoted, headhunted and recognised throughout. I’m now currently unemployed. I’ve applied for 85 jobs. 70 of these I’ve ticked all the boxes. Not one interview. I’m mid 50s. Is this ageist?

This feels like a much safer space than X. That platform became so toxic. It’s worrying that there’s so much nastiness in the world. Looking forward to #bluesky spreading its wings in to Europe so it becomes more relevant for me. 😊
