It's actually the other way around. Dogsred is a reboot of Supinamarada!, Noda's series before Golden Kamuy that got axed, & many of the characters in Golden Kamuy were based of off ones from Supinamarada!. After Golden Kamuy, Noda used his newfound popularity and cachet to make it again but better.
