Maybe he’ll do a Rush and want back after a year

Top right Wirtz to join top right Salah

He can come stand next to me at the beginning.

When do Germany meet up for nations league training? I assume by then we’ve had medical, contract signed and lean.

Maybe Hughes will be working Sunday and Monday while rest of the reds have a party.

I’m glad I chose to not to argue and bowed down to your blue tick knowledge
May 23, 2025 at 4:29 PM
That’s a pretty decent list. Can argue a few but I bet so could everyone but only one is standing out as bad choice and it’s tiny, just like his arms.
May 23, 2025 at 1:29 PM
Aight, you got me. I can’t possibly argue with that
May 22, 2025 at 7:06 PM
I’d normally leave you to your fantasies but the guy is a proven troll. He previously stated that Kompany was using his tweets to work on tactics and multiple other stuff. Check the Bayern reddit it’s all in there.

I know this is all hypothetical but a good way to beat FFP is buying a player and amortising it over 5 years but then sell the player a year or two later and bank the money there and then.

That way you can keep signing top players and beat FFP and never deal with the consequences
March 17, 2025 at 8:33 PM
Athletico might have FFP issues, and getting £100 mil for one player could go a long way to ease that.
March 17, 2025 at 8:17 PM
However if for example compared to everyone else in the World it’s Haaland, Mbappe and Isak are top 3 in the metrics by a long way, then I wouldn’t be shocked if we gamble on a massive bid for him, and let Salah go.
March 17, 2025 at 7:58 PM
Perhaps, I personally think Alvarez is much more likely than Isak anyway.

I would much prefer your route as well if possible as I do believe anyone we sign, as long as Slot signs off on them like Klopp used to then I trust our data and analyst guys to get it right for him.
March 17, 2025 at 7:56 PM
But with the Isak and Alvarez types we know they can perform in the Prem. We dropped £70mil + on Nunez so I don’t see why we’d balk at £100mil + on either those. If Newcastle miss out on CL he’ll want to leave.
March 17, 2025 at 7:03 PM
I’m happy to have the scouts/analysts etc find players who are good enough as they know a hell of a lot more than me. Problem these days the Salah signings are things of the past, teams are scooping up any bit of potential talent early, so unless we drop 100 mil on a forward we won’t replace him.
March 17, 2025 at 7:02 PM
If we lose Salah then I don’t think the supporters will put up any of them.

A marquee big name signing like Alisson and Van Dijk when we lost Coutinho will be what’s needed. And I can only think of Isak and Alvarez that would scratch that itch
March 17, 2025 at 6:25 PM
I think I’d prefer Prem proven. Isak or Alvarez in the striker role and if Salah is off then I’d be happy with Mbuemo and Chiesa rotating in that position.

Very disappointed we didn’t get Kvara when he was available. Can play all across the front.
March 17, 2025 at 5:28 PM
The player doesn’t exist but say spreading Salahs/Nunez/Jota G/A across 2 players might be doable

27 Npg and 23 assists across those 3 players in the Prem.

So we would need 2 players to average 25 goal contributions each. Isak, Mbuemo, Cunha, Alvarez would all achieve this with us.

Never mind, had a look and doesn’t seem to be a correlation in his xg stats. Must just be emotions and stories that take over. Saved you a job

Not including penalties though 🤣
