Re: the R Truth firing thing, if you remember that promoters are constantly working you, you realise whatever the opposite of what they’re saying is probably true. If HHH said it was real, it wasn’t real. If he says it’s a storyline it was definitely real and they fucked up.

Really enjoyed the cage match. Felt like they knew they probably shouldn’t go as crazy as last year and I’m glad they didn’t try. Great finish and great visual of Ren with the crimson mask #njdontaku

AEW Dynamite 15/1 Mox v Hobbs, liked this a whole lot. Hobbs was always losing but they found a way to do it whilst making him feel like a killer. Crowd being pro-Mox added something too. I hope they keep him in the ME scene at this point. B-

Ashino sets the tone by destroying Anzai on the outside and trying to rip his leg off. Anzai eats an elbow above the eye and has a horrific crimson mask halfway through the match which whips the crowd up even more. Very cool match. B

Miu Watanabe v Mizuki TJPW ‘25 - loved this one, wonderful chemistry between 2 high-level workers. Grade A. Pretty good show overall with the other title matches and the big comedy match.

Since I’m trying to use this platform to track my wrestling watching, NEVER and Global were both excellent matches that will probably be replaced with even better matches over the year. Main event - I liked the ambitious storytelling and I think the long runtime enabled it.

Really enjoyed the main, I love a long match and they had plenty of story beats to justify the long runtime. I think ZSJ is established as the man and Shota is someone people will actually want to see chase the belt now. #njwk19
