Ohh also I just remembered YEARS ago there was a “brown out” and all immigrant workers went on strike for a day. I’m NYC this was FELT laundromats, restaurants, grocery stores were impacted. I think the biggest issue is Americans are bad at striking. It’s common everywhere else
