I’m not Arab either. And those Arab countries you mentioned allowed the Jews to return years ago. Something Israel has never offered the Palestinians. You’ll never be able to justify the nakba to yourself, so maybe it’s best to just accept it, and start fighting for meaningful justice.

America as a settler colonial state has already consolidated its power. It is one of the most tragic events in human history. The native Americans will never see justice for their centuries of suffering. The Palestinians still can. They can return. We must ensure that.

Again, what you’re talking about is conquest. Not colonialism. No one is defending conquest, but these events occurred hundreds of years ago. Israel, by comparison, is younger than trump, and continues to exploit its indigenous population today. This is basic stuff.

Netanyahu isn’t really the issue. He’s a more extreme faction of the Israeli population that’s emerged over the last ten years, but the real issue is the continued colonisation of Palestinian land and extermination of their people, which is built into Israel’s founding. Same for America I guess.

Israel is a colonial entity and to genocide the indigenous people consolidates said entities power. Israel has strategically aligned itself with the global superpower in the west so it enjoys more impunity for its crimes than almost any other “country” would.

I don’t think you know what genocide is. The two points in your right hand post are not a ‘criteria’ for genocide under any international definition. I can send you South Africa’s ICJ case and Amnesty Internationals report but I don’t think you’d be able to engage with anything longer than 1 page.

Genocide isn’t a decline in the general population. By that logic Japan is committing self-genocide. It’s the targeting of a people with the intent to destroy them in whole or in part. Everything Israel has done to Gaza is evidence of this. Along with the clear intent exhibited by their leaders.
