The UV signature is so cool. I love how low profile it is and then you can just pull out a UV light to flex.

Trees and fruit. Mana is like a fruit of the land. It can only make so much every turn, but it will make more if you wait. That made the most sense to me when I was learning, and people I have taught seem to understand that well. The one land per turn part is easiest if I show them Azusa. lol.

It is so easy to do now with the massive increase in MDFCs from MH3. Most of my decks are playing 28-32 lands, and then a bunch of MDFC lands. My only decks that is a bit lower is my Hare Apparent deck and it’s mostly because I’m playing in insanely low curve. That deck is still at 35 or 36 tho.

God dammit. Now I wanna get Sol Kanar altered to be the swamp queen…. Much to think about.

Thing was my first lord, and this is my first hero shooter. Ended season 1.5 in GM 3. Hoping to hit celestial next season!

Round 5: 2-0 against a very scary Jeskai deck. Board stall into Elspeth game 1. Aggressive curve and better top decks late game got there game 2. First place! 🥇🥳

Round 3: 2-0 against Abzan splashing blue. Close game 1 and a very aggressive curve game 2 got there. Still no Elspeth!

Round 4: 2-0 against Sultai dragons. Game 1 was super close with my opponent gaining 20+ and draining 4 times with maelstrom. Game 2 Elspeth win!

Round 2: 2-0 against Temur dragons. Had some long games and Elspeth is still avoiding me, but got there with endure value. Inspirited Vanguard has been a house!

Round 1 draw against a very nice fella playing Temur. Had Ugin every game, but had a good amount of draw and ramp to get to it. Never saw Elspeth sadly. On to round 2!

3,4,5. I think I like my pool. Got pretty lucky!
