Americans like my husband, too (he and I are also your constituents), who has Long COVID. We are facing some VERY hard times if aid is cut. I hope NY State can step in as it has sometimes done in the past to help if certain federal aid is reduced.

It is so upsetting that things have gotten this bad, this quickly. And like others, I also don't blame you. I'd do the same.

You are stating a problem you have, not suggesting anything for me. You have strong opinions about this, and I understand that and am fine with you telling me about them. But that isn't what I was asking.

It would. But I hate this format. I hated it on that other platform that was like this (but evil), too. Character limits? Public posts? Not what I'm after. I also find comment threads here really hard to follow. All these things together are just not conducive to the kind of communication I want.

I never got on Threads. I like FB's post and reply format a lot better than other social media, and it lets me keep in touch with people I'd otherwise not be in touch with, but I have such a love-hate relationship with FB in general - and no love for Zuckerberg himself, or the stinking algorithm.
