Plus, fwiw, he’s got a 1.076 OPS in winter league with 3 homers and 3 doubles in his first 36 PA and gets rave reviews from every coach that spends any time with him, including Murph in spring last year, who never compliments prospects lol

He finished the season strong in AAA, exit velocities were as good as ever by the end after a slow power start. Arm was coming along, not sure it’ll ever be the borderline 80 grade arm we saw pre-injury, but it could still be above-average to plus. Defense looked good. I think he’s ready for MLB.

Lara has the head start right now, I’m guessing he starts next season in AAA, so I’d go with him. But if you told me both of them saw the big leagues by the end of the next year, I’d buy it.
