The Supreme Court is out of control. To allow the president, without any explanation, to unilaterally dismantle agencies created by an Act of Congress is to endow the president with sovereignty. There is no justification, because they haven’t given one. Our country is in big trouble.

Senator Padilla was driven violently to his knees–as if made to kneel before the authority of the executive–because the administration called his questions “disrespectful”.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

I’m starting to think that the right simply views monetary transactions differently than the rest of us.
Whether it’s grants to Harvard or trade deficits, MAGA seems to think that paying someone to do something = giving money away, regardless of whether they provide what you asked for. Weird.

It's merely weird timing that everything that was about to break because of Joe Biden did not, in fact, break during his administration but rather did so as soon as DOGE touched it. Coincidence. Happenstance, even.
