I've found two other women at work that also have sleeping problems and I have to admit that speaking with them makes me feel better. Going to work with maybe 45 minutes of sleep feels so wrong. Like I shouldn't even be allowed to drive a car....

I'm so sorry. I also have terrible trouble sleeping. Most people don't get it. I'd rather deal with physical pain in waking hours than get little or no sleep. It's horrible.

In the 70s and 80s a lot of kids were just left to take care of themselves. I didn't experience this except for the summer when I went to visit my Grandma in the Midwest. The kids were just on their own. It was crazy!

Kids had no money, no phone, etc. If you were lucky you had a bike. Kids hung out with creepy characters so they could watch TV or eat snacks.

They used to just put kids out of the house and expect them to manage themselves for hours.

I'm still angry that I'm allergic to cats. I want kitties all over me.
