Look at these abandoned Roman stone buildings and this abandoned concrete building - what is the difference, really? No idea?
Then let’s see more pictures of rocks tumbling down, rather than trying to make a coherent argument.

Is it even conceivable that we could build in stone for the population of the earth today, rather than in Greek and Roman times? What is the Architect suggesting that we do instead? I have no idea

Does the claim that we are building concrete buildings to last 30 or 40 years stand up? There are lots of older concrete buildings that show no sign of ending their life (e.g. on South Bank where I was watching this movie)

The Epilogue tries to explain, but doesn’t seem to be intellectually coherent. We’ve seen ancient ruins that are still there… but they are ruined, not being used, so why is it so great that they are still there?

Then we have ruined buildings and buildings being torn down. I guess the former is Ukraine - poignant but is it relevant to the idea that we build buildings that will not last? The latter could be relevant but is undermined by lack of context. Where are these buildings? Why are they being destroyed?

The stone circle he builds, the architect suggests, has no meaningful purpose. Seemed a bit too much like a metaphor for the movie, to me

Oh my goodness. Half of it is rocks exploding or infrared images of countryside (how does that relate to the topic?) Boring. I’d had enough of that well before the half way point

Good morning, dear. Saw you on Twitter so followed you here and Threads. Twitter has become read only for me. I’m not sure what to use Bluesky for, either. My photography is on Threads. I don’t share a lot else. Maybe I should…
