Down. Ipswich had a lot of decent performances zero points last season.

This and Bournemouth and Fulham and Spurs are what will relegate us, maybe more than getting tanked by Burnley

I think the young in London might want to be "long of London property" to "have somewhere to live" maybe even "having somewhere nice to live".

"They have moved right on non economic issues" is not an aside. People routinely puzzle in the US as to why vote against their economic interests when voting Republican. People care about lots of things.
Secondly, half or late measures bait this response. Labour have generally done half measures.

I hate the idea of a lump sum payment 100x more than just paying invisibly as I fill up. I wonder if I am the only one and if it changes behaviour.

Persona 5 is already a massive game. Not releasing is extra development time and extra costs. 3 and 4s expanded versions came from switching platforms and Atlus adding extra.
On the same platform they just need to make it DLC.

Think Bamford was great for us. I'd have kept him to see out his contract, hoping for one last hot streak. But over Piroe? That's a huge risk. Paddy could just as easily be out injured for the entire season.

Gerhardt hadn't played for us and hadn't lit it up on loan. Again big risk.

Lots of private sector employer pensions are you put in 3% we'll put in 7% or variations thereof.

You are clearing the £2,000 at a £20,000 wage even on pretty ungenerous schemes. It'll be more hassle having some salary sacrifice and some not. Just stop the whole thing or just raise tax

I think we're definitely down regardless. Anxiety is gone, just the depression remains.

Not convinced he's the man for a relegation scrap. I know he was with Swansea, but that was earlier in his career and he's just left Celtic for not spending enough money

Getting out the Championship is a nightmare, even with a good team and it shouldn't be underrated. Marcelo took 2 goes, albeit with a weaker squad.

Look at how many teams have failed at it.

I'd guess the official reason is that publication could move markets and the Chancellor laying it out also provides important information and context. There's also the political side for the government in building support for difficult policies.

How much it really matters, I don't know.

It's easy to not rate a manager when he doesn't have the players. Fine margins, we dropped 3 points late in games we shouldn't have.

If we going to sack him, earlier is better. I just don't see who is out there that does much better, unless Marcelo comes home. Obvious candidates have already moved

Fans in the summer: recruitment isn't good enough
Manager in the summer: recruitment isn't good enough

Fans now: why is the team struggling, manager is cack

I think it's clear even staying up this season is going to be zero fun

Bad seems a bit much. It's watchable with some decent ideas threaded through and a good final act but dragged down by the rework and reshoots and the need to connect absolutely everything.
It's okay for a film to be mid.
November 24, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Return of The Jedi is a great film. A touch flabby, but too much has been lost talking about Ewoks. The final third is incredible.

And it sticks the landing for the entire trilogy, which is rare enough. The rest, yes. THe Phantom Menace gets more stick than it deserves but is not, you know, good.

It's all a bit Bijol-ly. Play him, we bought him to be a starter. Still has a mistake in him and we still get beat.

We just stack hope in this player or that player, when we need a bigger overhaul or a completely different way of playing.

DJ did not play well in pre season and the early games. It could be he wasn't fully fit because he didn't look it.
DJs best attribute is his pace, and there's some logic to tiring out defences before bringing him on. I'd go with Gnoto in that case, as he might dae sumfin but it's not entirely insane
November 24, 2025 at 9:42 AM
The players have a loss of concentration or mistake in them leading to conceding.

We're three players off, min. There's managers that might keep this team up, but it'd not be particularly fun regardless.
November 23, 2025 at 7:36 PM
I am seriously struggling with names that could keep us up. I don't think Brendan Rodgers does it. The only one I can think of is Roy Hodgson and he's 78 and retired.
November 23, 2025 at 7:17 PM
I don't think it matters. The team while competitive has the mistake or drop in concentration in them that conceded. It's killer at this level.
Bielsa with a full preseason and murder ball maybe gets some of that out of them. Not convinced anyone of less class does, especially with less time.
November 23, 2025 at 5:19 PM
Availability, speed and cost of public chargers are way bigger issues than the cost of the car on EV uptake at this point.

Suspect a per mile charge will have a chilling effect. The hassle and perception of it as much as the actual cost.

Wait until you see how miserable we are in February
November 22, 2025 at 5:48 PM
The main lesson of Forest and West Ham is that the cure to fatalism and despair is winning actual football matches.
November 22, 2025 at 5:48 PM
Is it "win games of football"? I think winning games of football is really the key thing here.

At the height of "Enoch was right" UK politics wasn't this extreme. I am not entirely sure why it has lost it's mind now.

I wonder if this one of the places were the decline of Christianity really produces a negative outcome, though maybe May is a counterexample
