@adamkinzinger.bsky.social I dont disagree with your statement but, pls provide your definition of disaster. Was anyone harmed? Was anything damaged or destroyed? No fan of Musks current persona but SpaceX is doing R&D of an ambitious space fairing vehicle which comes with a chance of failure.

The statement that the booster crashed is false. Whatever safety parameters SpaceX has for an attempted catch of the booster were not met and thus they diverted the booster to a controlled landing in the gulf.
