Is he trying to say Christians are most than twice as likely as non-Christians to adopt?

Woke != Progressive
November 13, 2025 at 7:24 PM
someone like this?
November 13, 2025 at 7:12 PM
A decent question. I do wonder if the response is that newsrooms can’t do this. The need reporters to be able to us @ nytimes emails to be good reporters. Good reporters won’t do so if there is any fear that the emails will be read by the NYT, even after the fact. Source protection is paramount

Actually, it kind of seemed like the alternative wasn’t continued shutdown but rather nuking the filibuster. So all that positively framed stuff would actually be happening, just Dems would also be seen to have a spine AND the filibuster would be gone. On that last part, YMMV

What do you make of Garland and the four years when Trump wasn’t president?
November 12, 2025 at 4:24 PM
Very confused. Why wouldn’t Garland have done something? I feel like this needs to be explored. We voted the pedo out and for 4 years did nothing? What the hell indeed

Pitch 1 of the 9th when Clase was pitching was undeniably kayfabe. In a lot of instances for over 3 seasons.

The books will catch it, doesn’t work as an argument for me if it takes 3+ seasons to do anything
November 11, 2025 at 11:16 PM
Then that is totally pedantic in my mind.

Use a different word then- compromising the integrity of the game. Whatever
November 11, 2025 at 11:13 PM
Like you said in the pod, 1-0 is worse than 0-1, hell it’s worse than 0-0. So, yeah, it is match fixing.
November 11, 2025 at 11:11 PM
Because now you can match fix by just throwing 1 ball. That wasn’t a thing you could do a decade an ago.

You can be 15th man Jontay Porter and match fix by not shooting. Couldn’t do that a decade ago

It’s not just the legalization, it’s the apps and the instantaneous betting.
November 11, 2025 at 11:09 PM
So yeah, legalization absolutely made match fixing easier, just like it made wagering easier. They go hand in hand. if your argument is that’s mitigated but the books being so good at catching this stuff we shouldn’t worry, it’s your job to justify why it took 3+ seasons to do anything about this
November 11, 2025 at 11:02 PM
You think pitchers were throwing intentional ball 1s when those couldn’t be wagered on pre legalization?
November 11, 2025 at 10:59 PM
And yet this took 3 seasons and it expanding beyond its original actors for anyone to do anything about it.

The idea that the books catch this stuff so don’t worry is exactly disproven by this scheme. I’m not willing to let match fixing go on for 3 years and live with that.

We get Doc, Fickle and MLF for penance for Murphy being elite
November 11, 2025 at 4:31 AM
Punt vs Go for it kinda funny too though. MLF is just dumb and bad a this stuff
November 11, 2025 at 3:38 AM
WOW! I was NOT expecting that.
November 6, 2025 at 10:18 PM
Pendulum politics sucks. I mean, it’s nice to have it swing my way, but it really just makes me so mad about 24
November 5, 2025 at 3:33 AM
