Centene is finally selling the unused Clayton land from their cancelled HQ expansion. For those who don't recall, Centene still owns the Ritz-Carlton next door and has been steadily investing in improvements there

McGowan Bros selling Spring Street Lofts across from Fresh Thyme & City Foundry. This was a pretty stunning restoration back in 2009. They had to peel back the modernized facade to see if there was enough left to qualify for historic tax credits

KSDK 5 sign is up at Highlands One following their departure from downtown, and St. Louis Business Journal is making the same move. 🙄 Both newsrooms love reporting on supposed downtown decline, but both have shown they don’t actually care.

Clayton pursuing major overhaul of elementary schools: historic 1929 Glenridge & 1939 Meramec to be renovated with large additions. 1971 Captain (across from Kaldi's DeMun) would see full demo/rebuild. Students dislocated for a year or more at each school.
