10 years ago I felt hope with Paris

5 years ago I felt angry but motivated with the rise in climate activism

Today I feel numbness, apathy… & warm

Someone please reassure me that the apple blossom I saw this morning is perfectly normal & not another sign we’re hurtling faster towards climate & biodiversity collapse

The good news?

A switch to plant-based foods is easier, healthier & cheaper 🌱

We must fight them on our plates, cafes, restaurants & trolleys 🛒

As Scientists, if we can’t take action ourselves, we have an absolute duty & responsibilty to support & promote those brave individuals who peacefully, creatively & radically carry our data… the message… to the media, the public, the decision makers

Our role as scientists is different now 🥼🌍

If decision-makers & governments had acted on the science we wouldn’t be facing climate & biodiversity collapse 🔥

Publications, data & presentations alone can’t save us 🔬📄
