Born in Yorkshire in the last century before we had a National Health Service. My father was a coal miner who was part of the trade union movement. I was brought up to respect and listen to the opinions of others.
Farage is and was a horror. The sad thing is that most of his followers neither recognise this nor care a fig about it. The Reform bunch has no social conscience and glories in the negative, destructive stance of their leader.

Money can remove every shread of decency when corruption is in one's DNA.

Once they binge, they really binge. Greed of any kind is distasteful. Farage is riddled with arrogance and complacency, salivating at the prospect of personal power.

Money for old rope? Probably not as good a rate as Farage reaps for his parliamentary efforts and attendances.

Forty some years ago, my 12 year old son reached the final of a tennis tournament in our village. Due to inclement weather half an hour before the start, the other finalist did not show up. By default, my boy was declared the winner. We still refer to him proudly as our tennis champion🏆.

How many nits are left to pick from this story?

Has he joined Reform on a work experience package?

A true representative of the electorate of Clacton. Boy, have those people been used for Farage's personal gain.

Reform's favourite party game " Change the leader as many times as you can before anyone realises you don't know what the hell you are doing"

It will not be his brain either.

I am not surprised they are welcoming more ex-tory liabilities in Reform. They are the only people with a smidgen of political experience to replace the misfits who have resigned or been sacked within local government. Reject after reject does not bode well for Farage.

Chris Mason is an utter disgrace. Along with his crony Kuenssberg, they are freeloading on the license payers. This is not public service broadcasting, it is spiteful personal agenda bitching. Shame on them and their self gratifying justification.

I would much prefer this councillor to jump off a public building on Christmas Day than worry about attempting to fly any sort of flag from any sort of building.

All day and every day in the month of December.

Women in the US ignored these issues at the last election and gave the power to Trump. 'Caveat emptor' women of the UK.

It has flourished better than the neighbouring tree in the adjacent front garden.

They will certainly wreak havoc, and the consequence will be the wrecking of the UK.
November 28, 2025 at 2:37 PM
Has he folded under pressure? Are they ready for government? There is not a cat in hell's chance of the Reform party succeeding in running this country successfully.
November 28, 2025 at 2:05 PM
Well, he would,wouldn't he?
November 28, 2025 at 8:12 AM
The answers : too much on both counts.

All done in the spirit of cooperation? Certainly not for the benefit of the folks in Doncaster.
November 27, 2025 at 5:44 AM
Was he out celebrating his good fortune in gulling the electorate of Tameside? No doubt he will be using taxis now and charging it as a justified expense.
