I chose crocheting over knitting so I can’t kill anyone with the needles.
I started learning to crochet only 4 weeks ago. I’ve already made a gazillion hats. This is my 2nd blanket in the works. The first one was for a friend who lost her home in the Palisades fire. It’s been a great way to be quiet, pray, listen to audiobooks and give back.

Today we had the privilege of having, quite literally, some of the best French pastries in the world. The Poulette Bakeshop in Parker, CO is a 2025 James Beard Award finalist. We waited in line behind 100+ people for an hour before we even got past the doors. It was like eating pieces of heaven.
