Yesterday the smart meter rollout hit a major milestone, as the 35 millionth smart meter was connected to the national smart meter network! That's 35 million smart meters helping to bring about a smarter, greener energy future for Britain!

Over 33 million smart meters are connected to our network ⚡ Through our network, we've saved over 1.2 million tonnes of CO2 emissions and that number will only continue to grow as more and more #smartmeters are connected.

We were proud to see our Level 7 Masters Degree apprentice & Cyber Security Business Partner Melissa McKenna recently speak at DXC Technology about her #apprenticeship journey. She shared authentic advice with Digital Future students exploring tech apprenticeships.

We welcomed Ofgem Chair Mark McAllister, CEO Jonathan Brearley, and other senior leaders, to tour our Manchester operational headquarters and explore the exciting work we are doing to maintain and enhance the smart meter network’s scale, security, and connectivity.
