I agree. This is so much worse than I imagined. I thought naively that the dems would do something more than tow the line. I hate to say it, but we're on our own. Literally there are only SIX dems fighting for us. We just need to resist and make our voices heard as much as we possibly can.

Zico, I am with you. A lot of us are. You have to be informed and take any and precautions you can to protect you and yours. My hubs and I take a day off here and there just to "clear" the mind of the Trump poison. But I encourage you to stay informed. Complacency is what they want. Take care.

We are in the throes of an authoritarian regime. We don't have a government anymore.... Life as we knew it is OVER. It will take at least a generation to get back what we had on January 20th. Now he's defying the courts and using language of "If I'm saving my country I'm not breaking the law"

The way I see it, the government is already shut down with the hundreds of thousands fired from their public service positions. If they vote YES, that means 6 more months of assault on this nation from Musk and Trump. Voting YES is giving those two demons permission to do more damage. Shut it down
