yah coffee is going to get expensive and it will be harder to find certain fruits but not impossible. maybe we'll get bukele to grow all our bananas now

there will maybe be queues and certainly there will be empty shelves in 1-2 months. it will be chiefly consumer goods, especially chinese imports (we basically embargo them) but also price hikes on anything imported. like, people will eat, but will they have diapers? appliances? car parts?

/oil prices will be cheap so no gas queues or need for biofuel. people will have to eat more corn and soy, probably. apparently in the last 5 years we stopped being net agricultural exporters but that seems to be driven by not-food.

it wont be food in general, america makes more than enough food. we pretty much only make food and cloud services. specific products we cannot grow won't be available. the cost of meat will go up and biofuel will be substituted for fossil fuels to make room for more feedstock
