Nintendo should open a new studio focused on making smaller, 2D pixel art games. That way we could get out of the groundwork they laid out in games like Metroid: Zero Mission, and they should do this for me, specifically.

Just booted up Metroid Prime 4 on Switch 2 for the first time, and the experience of having a good surround sound mix along with richly detailed and vibrantly colorful environments, combined with a silky smooth frame rate creates something that is truly just glorious to behold.

So far, I feel like buying the Analogue 3D was a mistake. Maybe I’d be more blown away if I didn’t already have a RetroTINK-4K Pro. But right now the addition of HDMI and RGB compared to my original N64 is pretty minimal, and it currently doesn’t read my EverDrive-64 X7. Lame.

I wish the Nintendo eShop would not recommend games you play physically on the “For You” page. Since it only recommends 10 games a week, duplicating even a single game you already own is a real waste.

The worst part of my life right now is that on the Switch 2 Pro Controller, the controller number LEDs are on the top, so sometimes I have to rotate my wrists to check what player I am. Life is just so hard sometimes.

I’m not buying game key cards. End of story. They have no value to me. I do not sell my games, and I do not want to pay for an inconvenience/plastic waste. Unreal this is even a discussion.

On Nintendo Switch 2, why is a search bar available when adding games to groups, but NOT available to search through your full software library? Absolutely maddening.

Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition is listed as 59.4 GB on the Switch 2 eShop, but because CD Projekt Red fucking rules and used a proper game card, it only takes up 2.4 GB of storage on my system. PLEASE make this the standard, and PLEASE make bigger game cards, Nintendo.

Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition sucked me back in WAAAAAAAY more than I ever imagined was possible. Turns out this game is just insanely good, even when you think you’ve already done everything and have no reason to go back.

Mario Kart World has so much personality crammed into it that it makes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe feel as safe and sterile as the New Super Mario Bros. series does when compared to Super Mario Bros. Wonder. It is LEAGUES better the instant you begin. It’s so good that even the MUSHROOM CUP is great.

Deep down I think I long to be more optimistic and enthusiastic. When I get behind a keyboard and there’s no filter and there’s total anonymity, I leave comments on people’s videos and posts that are kinder and more complimentary than I normally am in person.
