My heart is my art. Very pleased with the results of this very experimental project: paperclay stoneware with mason stained slip trailing; light borax wash and fired cone 10 reduction.

This is my first finished painting of 2025, Crash Site, Acrylic.
A ringed moon rising over a scarlet and gold nebula is the sky over an alien planet. Curling mountains stab the sky in the distance giving way to rocky planes of snow in the foreground. Dotted with huge scarlet crystals the snowy ground spilts into a huge ravine where a tiny shuttle craft has left a trail of ice and darkened snow to its final resting spot.
