And some still get their knickers in a twist when POC actors are cast in Jane Austen adaptations.
Don’t know who needs to see this, but a mixed race actor cast as a Viking in a kids movie about dragons doesn’t take anything away from Viking culture. A black woman playing a green witch doesn’t take anything from witch culture.

Days that I work from home and have to do lots of editing, I'm grateful for the existence of Lisa McGee and her putting Derry Girls into the world so I can laugh and chuckle about elements of my catholic youth. It's good company.
