I will say lastly, that running an Eberron campaign revolving around a Warforged platoon during Last War using the Star Wars Clone Theme as the campaign soundtrack is sick as hell. Have done it and highly recommended.

Now if we really want to make the Star Wars comparison more accurate, here's who I'd compare the droid army to:
A mindless, expendable, obedient army?
The battle droids aren't the Warforged - the Battle droids are the undead army of Karnnath.
The two even fought during the Last War many times!

They both even have similar naming conventions! Neither were given names at birth, so they had to come up with their own (or with the help of friends). Heck, most Clone names and Warforged names could be used interchangeably!

and I get where they're coming from with the Warforged/Droid comparisons. In Star Wars, the droid armies were a good way for the Separatists to fight a war without risking their own people - And Warforged were used similarly. However, its important to note that Clones were used for the same reasons.

Wrapped up my campaign of two years last night, the party defeated a Tiefling sorcerer who morphed into a Blob of Annihilation. Feels bittersweet, but I'm super privileged to have gotten to finish this.
