I disagree. Town halls previously for the GOP were red meat love fests. Now the majority of people showing up are angry Republican voters. People care more about economic and social stability. We have neither now. People could care less about "illegals" and "crime" if they can't pay their bills.

At this point I think a depression is more likely. $500B in lost revenue due to IRS cuts alone. When we exceed our debt capacity as soon as May, it's going to start accelerating even faster. If we default on our debt, which is not impossible, I believe that sends us straight to Hooverville.
