I had no idea that Dan Hannan was so high profile that half the population of Canada would be amused by fucking with him.

Think you might have peaked here. Good luck living up to this one in future posts.

Not sure- she’s always been delightfully mad. Her appearance on NMTB talking about living in a tree in Noel Fielding’s garden still brings me joy to think back on.

Ramsgate and Lausanne is a fabulous juxtaposition. Sleeper trains from Gare D'Austerlitz in winter still have that old school magic I feel. I'm sure others do too.

Genuinely preferred getting sent to court in Winchester or further than trying to get to Uxbridge. From SW London.

These are great! That's at least one christmas present sorted. I didn't recognise Llanddywn itself, but LLŷn behind is immediately recognisable even in just a few lines. Love it. Quick Q: if I order it to the recipient's house for me to wrap when I get there, will the packaging give away contents?

Thanks. Watched the English version on Netflix a year or two back but back then didn't speak any welsh, and while I still don't speak as much as I would like it would be good to have something so high quality to practice on!

Sorry to intrude, but after a bit of time on google, I can't find the answer - do you happen to know if the bilingual version is currently available to watch anywhere?

Counterpoint: if the hugely increased number of rough sleepers in my bit of London suddenly disappeared, my first thought would not be "well done for fixing the social safety net" as much as "oh god, what has Rishi done with/to them?"

Hmm, I didn't think that would work (it hasn't in the past!) but it has now given me another 30 day free trial apparently. Which isn't the result either of us wanted or expected, but I at least will take it!

Stephen, do you have a convenient link for where I can pay for *just* the newsletter once my trial ends? I can only ever find full FT subscription packages, which is huge overkill for me. Is it just £4.99 for the newsletter? ;)
