Then again it's an hour and a half past my usual bedtime so I should probably just go and lay down

I'll be the first to acknowledge I suck but it still stings whenever it's pointed out by anybody else, I don't think I could handle that kind of thing with something that's fundamentally all me, it's already hard enough with how much I doubt myself

At this point I can't see myself working on anything original, of my own. It already feels phony to call myself an artist when I'm lagging so far behind everybody else, I don't think I have it in me

-- concerned that the moonlighting mechanic might be over-correcting somewhat; I could see it working in the context of your party members being introduced so far apart from each other but now I'm not so sure

Most of the scenarios in the earlier island-hopping part of the game work entirely in isolation so I'm not too worried about it, introducing your party members earlier when the combat hinges so heavily on the vocation system is honestly great to see for the sake of convenience but it makes me--

Not feeling that last sentence though 😬 I'm fine with him being an NPC for this new scenario, I think it's the best and likely only way to give him more screentime without just bringing him back altogether, making him a party member again just completely misses the point to his story arc

Worth noting adult Kiefer isn't on the party member list to the right, which 100% means he's an AI controlled party member likely as part of one of the new scenarios they're adding to the remake. This is exactly what I wanted, I'm so happy LOL

Feel free to get mad at me for this but a lot of it feels like it's coming from either people who haven't played it upset by principle or people who might be remembering it being way nicer than it actually is. I love the game but as I keep replaying it I'm seeing again why it's so contentious
