HBD to my first Goose run! Had to fly all the way to the other Portland to finally catch a show live and not on the stream. Strange that was 4 years ago.

Hometown show but damn I keep coming back to Carnation 24. The Hungersite gets all the attention but this show was straight fire from the EoA in the first set all the way through to the end. Do not sleep on this Red Bird. Fav show of the Pac NW 24 run by far

Peter added a keyboard strobe to the intro of EMG back in April. This came out of the studio session, where it was definitely needed because otherwise it sounded too close to the intro of Give It Time which was back to back.
It's quite a vibe shift away from older EMGs that have just a drone

Although on relisten I think Westville is my counterexample (which is funny as I was at that show and totally didn't hear it in the moment). There goes my nice clean model; the world is an imperfect place.

1:38 on the Nugs stream. Peter has both the melody in the Vintage Vibe and a 16th note arp line in a synth. That arpeggiator line is not there in the full SOS renditions since February (at least, I have yet to find a counterexample)

I had an awesome time at The Osees last night. Went in totally cold off the rec of a friend. Two extremely tight drummers got the whole room in a groove with some very intense extended jams towards the end of the set.

It blows my mind the way flow states are transitive. I started writing a mail during Light and finished during Waste but got so hyperfocused that I have no memory at all of Life Saving Gun. Going to have to go back and relisten to that, as I hear that jam was tight

This is super nerdy but this combination 65w USB-C wall wart and power bank that can charge my phone and laptop whether it's plugged in or not is making me really happy right now. Impulse buy FTW
