Ask anyone from low income countries like Nepal, my country, and they will tell you that the reason we have largely defeated measles and other infections in the country is vaccines! Yet, educated 'experts' in the USA have their heads in the sand regarding the importance of vaccines in saving lives.

Low income countries are the hardest hit. Already faced with difficulties after Covid-19 , this step by USA is sure to exacerbate the problems many fold. The vulnerable age group and those with underlying conditions (eg HIV) will suffer the most. Our HIV population relies USAID funded meds.

And to make matters far worse, 🇺🇸 no longer supporting @who.int efforts. These are dark days (years?) for Global Health efforts. Years of achievements will vaporize in months.
