Two five star reviews from goodreads. Top one from April 18, 2025 (cut off about halfway): A fun mystery, interesting characters, a world where things are a bit different, and a hint of romance await you in this fun YA book. I admit, Jason wasn’t my favorite character at first, and my heart really went out to Eva. Probably because I was the smart, bullied kid in school growing up, and had one of the popular kids pull a prank in chemistry lab, too. And while I didn’t have to Bottom one, from July 20, 2025: Just finished and this book was so good Maddon wrote a thriller that I couldn’t put it down and for everyone who couldn’t stand Jason I can understand but I loved him pretty much than Eva I found Eva mostly annoying at times but slowly warming up to her as she wasn’t so bad I had a good time reading this one can’t wait to see what other thrillers Maddon writes next for a debut I truly enjoyed myself reading this!
