Exploring emotions and mushrooms through character creation and hand-lettering, I'm having fun with quirky mushroom characters. I've finished two books, releasing next month, and am reviewing my portfolio to attract more opportunities.

I'm applying techniques from Aveline Stokart's Mastering Lighting and Shading 21Draw course. I often feel timid about lighting in my illustrations but aim to overcome this. Although the lighting still feels conservative, I believe I'm progressing in the right direction.

I recently discovered a captivating piece of art called #DTIYS by the talented artist @colors_by_jen, which sparked a burst of creativity within me to create my own version. I'm exploring the dynamic world of Clip Studio Paint, and experimenting with new brushes and a slightly different style.

I've been exploring a playful feline character inspired by our own Handsome Hansi, the coolest and most distinctive cat. His unique traits have inspired me to bring this character to life. I'm considering giving him a partner in crime. What do you think?

I haven't been very active on here (or anywhere) lately. Been busy sorting a lot of things out. As I slowly make my way back I thought I'd share a couple images from a look illustrated that came out earlier this year. A fun book about a little girl and the centipede that lives in her bathtub.

I did it! I filled an entire sketchbook for the first time ever. I feel a little embarrassed considering I've been drawing most of my life. I didn't draw every day but I have been my most consistent self. Looking forward to restarting the process #illustration #kidlitart #goals
