I finally got an overlock foot for my sewing machine (I had one, but lost it) and finally learned how to use it properly. My sewing life has changed and I'm oddly so excited to overlock all my fabric edgessssss 😍

Do I dare attempt to try to make a petticoat for my next #cosplay or do I just give in and buy one so I don’t have to fight tulle or organza…. 🤔🤔🤔 is it reallllly worth the fight?

So I’m studying for the JLPT N5 assessment to take in December. I’m 99% sure I have both dyslexia and ADHD, however I have never been formally diagnosed due to $$$ and my schools never suggested for me to be tested growing up despite speaking up and the struggles I had were clear indicators of both.

One of my least favorite phrases to see is “I need this by EOD today.” If this is the first time you’ve presented me with this request, this sort of demand has no respect for the time of the person doing the task. Like if it’s a project that’s been lingering, sure.

Discovered I can track the format I read books in on StoryGraph, so I went through all my tracked reading since 2013 and updated it! This is out of 49 books because I go through reading spikes every 3-4 years and read like 8-10 books and then forget to read for another 3-4 years. 😅

I am now referring to my crochet grip as the Thumbelina grip. 😂 A lot of people replied on threads saying I was doing the knife grip, but there’s a distinct difference between the knife grip and what I do; which is exactly what is shown as Thumbelina.

So a friend of mine got me a squishmallow crochet kit for Christmas and it shows two different ways to hold the hook. The “pencil grip” and the “knife grip” and it made me realize that I’ve never held my hook in either of those ways I the 7 years I’ve been crocheting… oops

As I see all of these people finishing Onyx Storm and realizing that I’m only in chapter 10, I have to remind myself constantly that at least I am reading. It is ok to be slower than everyone else. It’s ok to be the last one to finish. Finishing is the goal, not the speed in which I get there.

The annoying thing about Something Bad is that the lyrics and dialogue are so vital to the story, but it’s also just a very bad song. I always skip it when listening, but if I’m introducing Wicked to someone who hasn’t experienced it, they do in fact have to sit through Something Bad at least once.

So like I’m only just now getting into Bridgerton. Why did no one tell me Anthony is Fiyero? Like how did I not even notice. (I knew Jonathan Bailey was Fiyero, I just didn’t realize he was the actor for Anthony.) I did not put two and two together

The Wicked movie was perfect and everything I dreamed of for part 1. I laughed, I cried, got surprised with things I didn’t expect. And mostly sobbed. Loved it so much

I want to put in everyone’s brain: Imagine you go to ride the Rock N Rollercoaster at DHS and you go in only knowing it’s a launch coaster that goes 60mph with 3 inversions. The coaster launches and you hear “MAHNA MAHNA DO DOOO DO DO DOOOO” with the wind blowing through your hair.

I want to put in everyone’s brain: Imagine you go to ride the Rock N Rollercoaster at DHS and you go in only knowing it’s a launch coaster that goes 60mph with 3 inversions. The coaster launches and you hear “MAHNA MAHNA DO DOOO DO DO DOOOO” with the wind blowing through your hair.
I kept thinking I need a basket I could turn into a backpack for my Mao Mao cosplay, only to realize I was thinking of it wrong. I actually need a backpack that I can disguise as a basket. 👀👀
