8 million wasn't spent on a single study. He also didn't elaborate. Rather, he regurgitated a false claim made by another rep. It just so happens that two of the studies investigated reproductive functions and hormone levels in mice, which inform gender affirming care in humans. It's important.

Nope! I was a bx specialist in a residential facility and an intake counselor for a facility for children with suicidal ideations and behaviors. I found a desire to change the system that should support these kids, so I went into school psychology. Now, I conduct crisis and school safety research.

It's not that bad. I completed my PhD in a program that waived 95% of my tuition. Yes, it's a lot of work, but it's worth it being in the prof position I'm in now. I love my SP grad students and my research lab. If it's work that you love, it's worth the time and effort. And trauma.
