We love such short lives for people to care this much about what other people do to their bodies

If you’re so concerned with what someone you don’t know is doing to their body with full informed consent maybe it’s time to get a hobby offline

It also just usually somehow becomes “Oh this poor weak woman is being coerced and abused by this big evil man, who wants to ruin her body so no one else can have her” as if women can’t be into kinks too

Also I hate how any time a kink dynamic that involves harm or permanent bodily alterations comes up it’s always treated like an excuse for abusers and not like the negotiated agreement that it really is even though in kink the understandings of each other’s boundaries is incredibly important

People should have the right to do as they please with their bodies and that includes causing themselves harm as long as they’re capable of making that decision and of sound mind to do so
