Bazoo Return! When I was playing a VERY old format (Perfect Circle 2008) I had lots of fun with Bazoo summoning back monsters using Return from the Different Dimension, then banishing them again. The strategy wasn’t perfect, but it was my brew that I had fun with.

Spellbooks! I love retro formats and one of them is HAT format!(2014) In HAT I love Spellbook’s low to the ground resource loop of recycling the Fate book. I also adore decks that have low monsters that are backed up by powerful effects.

Ojamas! They were one of my very first decks. I found them at a flea market on various cards that included them being beat up and bullied. I knew I had to pick them up because I couldnt leave those little guys alone! So much of my childhood was spent playing Ojamas and they still remain in my heart.

Wetlands, Token Beatdown, and lots of floodgates is probably your best bet. You could try something with the Adventure Package as well
