well i guess that's always been a thing in politics but of course particularly egregious rn and i don't understand how it's become something regular ass people in general think is good decision making but well here we are

unfortunately this sort of thought is becoming so commonplace that's it's what's running current politics 😐 tech is seen as the most currently "useful" field so everything else is "in the way"... never mind any of the people working in those fields or what's impacted by them!

a lot of what i'm getting from this is that a lot of men are getting into tech fields more so bc of musk and rw ideology rather than actual interest/experience and then will act shocked when it explodes in their face

constantly crap on and destroy other necessary scientific fields and barely understand the one they're trying to champion... while also destroying it. it makes it annoying as hell to be in comp sci fields currently

from what i hear at my school a lot of tech people with actual experience are getting laid off bc their jobs are falsely being seen as "easy" (ie they know what they're doing) and being replaced with ai as a workaround, essentially eating their own tail lmao

is he saving people who are getting lost
