New single for November 2025! Went to see Johnny and the Yooahoos in Augsburg and they did a nice old timey tune, must have inspired me. Not too long afterwards I grabbed the mandolin off the wall and spontaneously wrote this A part, the B part came the next day. Photo taken in Metz.

New single for November 2025! Went to see Johnny and the Yooahoos in Augsburg and they did a nice old timey tune, must have inspired me. Not too long afterwards I grabbed the mandolin off the wall and spontaneously wrote this A part, the B part came the next day. Photo taken in Metz.
Song from September 2023. Vocals recorded lo-fi in Herzegovina after cycling through Serbia, my first song in Italian. 6/4 verse, 5/4 chorus, 4/4 middle part, time signatures idea semi-stolen from Did I Say by Teenage Fanclub. Another one of my favourites.

New song for October 2025! Have had the chorus melody and title for years, written after seeing a short video about the formation of the moon and what the earth would be like without it. Lots of synths and guitar effects, sung in the morning for that morning voice feel.
Song from October 2024. Featuring Fred Rosenstand on drums and DADF#AD tuning, this could be my favourite single I’ve put out so far. It builds up to 28 vocal parts, features unconventional electric guitar and keyboard sounds, and ended up exactly like I thought it would, not always the case.

New song for September 2025! Written in my head on the way back from a solo gig a few weeks ago after passing a decommissioned nuclear plant I always photograph. Big baritone guitar solo to blow open a simple song. Photo of a different tower I cycled past last summer in Romania.
Song from November 2023. Right and left hands of the accordion recorded separately due to talent limitations. AI artwork, I’m trying to use my own photos these days though. Possibly influenced by BMX Bandits.

Song from February 2024. Wrote the guitar part in 2010 or so, finally wrote some words, added lots of reverb and delay, recorded the singing very quietly, I like that effect.

Song from September 2024. I had this chord sequence in my head for maybe ten years, nothing too original, just a basic minor verse to major chorus switch. The oohs in the second chorus on make it listenable I think.
