he sincerely believed in only taking what was freely given, and sometimes that meant he would smoke crack if it was freely given. but never once did i see him ask for a single fucking thing, because he believed in providence. thats devotion, even if it is heterodox and weird

like i knew this guy, he didnt call himself 'christian', but he went 100%. didnt work, didnt ask for money or food, he said that it was all providence. if god wanted him to eat someone would offer him food. if god wanted him to get drunk someone would give him alcohol. he never asked for anything
