Despite Councillor Ford asking the same question repeatedly on the capacity of BRT platforms, and Admin deflecting and not answering, both Mayor Block and Chair Dubois praised Admin for providing all the answers. If Admin provided all the answers, what is the capacity of BRT platforms? #yxecc #yxe

I fully support a reliable, convenient, safe public transit system. The proposed design for the College Drive BRT section is not a step in the right direction. Platforms in the centre of the roadway that will have limited capacity is a recipe for disaster. /1 #yxe #saskatoon

A distant fourth place mayoral candidate offered a sensible start to address this safety issue (carytarasoff.ca/blog/f/regul...). Nothing from the second and third place candidates. And the first woman mayor of #Saskatoon had the chance at Committee to take action and didn't.

Not quite. Saskatoon's version will not be curbside. College Drive requires a complete overhaul as the stations are going in the centre of the road and the buses will be running contraflow (against traffic). A significantly more costly and complicated version (www.saskatoon.ca/sites/defaul...).
